For thirty years, Knoxville was the only home I knew. I spent over a decade of my life there, tucked behind a computer screen in the fast-paced world of television production. It was a good career, but life has a beautiful way of shifting when you least expect it.

I moved to Virginia with the love of my life, navigated the uncertainties of the pandemic hand-in-hand, and we officially said "I do." But the pull of home was strong, and we eventually found our way back to the mountains of Tennessee, settling into the sweet, small-town charm of Cleveland. It wasn't until I left that I realized just how much my soul missed this state.

Back home, working remotely in television, our world completely changed when my baby girl arrived. She is three now, and truly my favorite person on the planet. As the professional landscape shifted with the rise of AI, my first career began to take an unexpected hit. I faced a crossroads. I’ve always loved crafting and creating with my hands, but the doubt was there: Could I really build a business out of this?

The answer came every time I looked into my daughter’s eyes. I want her to grow up seeing a mother who never gave up, who pivoted with grace, and who built a dream from the ground up. Today, I am poured completely into this business—a space I have grown to love just as much as my first career, if not more. It grants me the precious flexibility to put my family first.
